- [Narrator] After the layer renders are complete, they need to be put back together in a compositing process and then we will output them for our clients. Photoshop can be used for this workflow, and it provides most of the basic tools necessary to prepare final imaging for marketing and promotional materials. Just a word about why this composting workflow came to be, is that if you render everything all the look of something into one single render, you can't go in and, you know, adjust things like the specular highlights or the self-shadowing or even the color independently of each other to get to your final render, so having these separated out into layers just gives you complete control over what the final look is. So let's go to file, we'll go to open and we're going to go find chapter five, those layers that we rendered and select both of those and we'll open those up, and, there we go, so let's select all for this, control c and let's control v over top of the diffuse layer…
