- [Instructor] Given that modern 3D applications and render engines are often employed as virtual photography studios, it is quite fitting that they also offer users an extremely photographic approach to taking rendered pictures. The cool thing here being that because the physical camera models they use adhere very closely to the workings of real world cameras any familiarity that we have with using the controls of a real world camera, be that film or digital, can be a real help when it comes to working with And yes I did say either the 3DS Max or V-Ray physical camera controls because after initially being removed in version three of V-Ray in favor of the co-developed with AutoDesk 3DS Max physical camera, the V-Ray physical camera has made a comeback. and so is available to V-Ray Next users whenever we want.
