Principle 4: Straight ahead

- [Instructor] Principle four focuses on the technique of animation. The first bit, straight ahead, is all about animating and iterating organically and spontaneously. Now before we begin there's a couple of things I think you should do. First, make sure that auto key is on and make sure that under your Settings that your Time Slider says Playback Real-time, and that under Files and Projects that you have AutoSave Enabled. And if you're a little low on disk space Compressed Mode for saving saves you a bunch of space. Alright, now in Blender there's also a couple of things you need to do really quick. You're gonna wanna go to File, User Preferences, go to the File tab, and make sure that Keep Session is on, make sure you have at least a couple, in this case I have four, Save Versions, and that Auto Save Temporary Files is checked on with a Timer of say maybe two minutes. Now those Auto Saves, enough if Blender crashes, will all be written to the temp directory. In this case it's tmp…
