- [Instructor] In this chapter, we discussed couple of offline renderers. We started with the V-Ray renderer. The V-Ray was very strong in visuals. We saw that it had very good lighting, and material setup, and it had a physical camera, which also helped in improving the visuals. It is widely used for architectural visualization, which we discussed, and probably it is the mostly used offline renderer for architectural visualization. Then it has large models and materials library online, so you can download some material presets for free, or you can find lots of good paid models and materials library as well. Because it's been widely used, so you can easily find tons of models and materials online. The next renderer that we discussed was the Arnold renderer. Now Arnold was also strong in visuals, and the best part about Arnold was that it is integrated part of 3ds Max, so you don't have to purchase a third party plugin, and that's a big advantage of Arnold Renderer.
