Referencing scenes with containers

- [Instructor] Containers provide another method for organizing scene objects and referencing scenes into one another. On the surface, containers seem to combine some aspects of groups with aspects of Xrefs. But containers are actually very different from both of these. They're designed for collaborative workflows in which the various team members contribute to a project. Today we'll see how to create containers and next week we'll look at how to use them for collaboration. The distinguishing feature of containers that makes them different from Xrefs is that we can set permissions on what can and cannot be edited. For example, an artist can add content to a container without changing what's already there. It's important to understand that these permissions are unlike file permissions in an operating system.
