- [Tutor] When it comes time to recreate the basic beauty pass that we will get out of V-Ray, which I would typically always recommend doing before moving onto making any alterations inside a comp, one element that we will typically need to work with is the reflection pass. Assuming of course, that we are rendering a typical scene in which reflective materials are present. Indeed, even objects that we may tend to think of as having a mat type surface, will typically have at least a low level of reflectivity attached to them. Hence why I say that in a typical real world type scene, reflections will always be present. To take a look at what we get from the reflection element in V-Ray Next for 3ds Max, let's add one of those to the render elements list, and then go ahead and render out our shot camera.
