- [Instructor] Now let's take the maps that we created in B2M, and move them into 3DS Max. Now before we do that, we are going to run into a little bit of a problem. And that is in the scale of the maps. Now the map that came out of SketchUp was just one of their standard materials, which is this particular map. Now, this map is not square, and it's not on a even boundary such as 512 or 1024. And so it's always best to go with square textures if you're going to tile, especially. Now what I did was take that and create a new material, and this is going to cause a little bit of problem when we change it out. So let's start off by authoring this material, and then we'll go ahead and fix the scale, and then we can actually author material that we want. So I'm actually going to go into the compact material editor here, it's a little bit faster. And this multi material is the walls of my building, and that's how it came across from SketchUp.
