- [Instructor] The last renderer we're going to explore in this chapter is the Redshift Renderer. Now there are a couple of reasons that I have chosen this Redshift to be included in this course. The first reason is that Redshift is purely dependent on GPU, so it's a GPU based renderer. So if you have a graphic card, you will be amazed to see its performance. The second reason for choosing Redshift is that I have personally used lots of renderers, whether it's offline or real-time renderers, and to my surprise, Redshift is the fastest renderer that I have used, ever. The third reason is that Redshift has some very powerful materials and light, and the fourth reason for choosing Redshift is that it has some very simple rendering options, just like we explored in Arnold. So let's just quickly go ahead and set up the renderer to Redshift.
