Setting up shortcuts
- [Narrator] Let me quickly take you through my user interface and the shortcuts I will be using. So this is 3ds Max 2014. Everything is pretty standard. You can follow me with some of the earlier versions of 3ds Max and even with the newer one. Maybe the only thing you may find different with the user interface would be if I go to the modifier panel. I have these quick access buttons in here that include the modifiers that I use frequently. And I do keep changing them according to my project. To set these quick access buttons, if you don't have them already, all you need to do is to click here and choose the Configure Modifier Sets. Once you have that, to each button you can assign the modifier that you wish to use frequently. In my case, if I want to assign Editable Poly or let's say Editable Mesh here, I would just select this button and double-click Editable Mesh to assign it.
