an architectural lighting study of a particular space, then at some point you're going to want to bend or break the rules of physics in your lighting setup. And that's why Arnold is almost always a better choice than ART for rendering, because ART will only allow you to do things that you can do in the real world. And that's kind of a big, big problem for anything that's not an architectural lighting study. So if you want to achieve a particular effect that's almost required, that you have the ability to do things that you couldn't do in the real world. For example, in this case I want to produce a dramatic lighting effect of some rim lighting on the edges of this Athena sculpture. And I've got a traditional studio setup here with a key light, a fill light, and two rim lights behind the figure. And you'll see that I've placed those rim lights outside of the set.
