Snapping surfaces dynamically with MCG Ray Constraint

- [Instructor] Max Creation Graph, or MCG, is a visual programming environment for Max. Today we'll look at one of the tools that was developed using MCG, which is ray constraint. We'll use it to snap this toy car onto this ground plane so that we can drive the car across the ground plane and the car will hug the irregular surface. I've got two helpers in my scene. This one that looks like a box is Helper Ray Caster. And that's the one that's going to determine the position of the car. This one over here that looks like a cross is the Helper Forward Vector. That one will determine the orientation of the car, which way it's pointing. So let's select that car. That's going to be the constrained object. Go up into the main menus and choose Animation, MCG Controllers, and we'll see we have three varieties of Ray to Surface. These two, Ray to Surface Position and Ray to Surface Position and Orientation will create list…
