- [Announcer] Stereoscopic three D is a technology used in many areas of the graphics and entertainment industries these days we're going to walk through the basics of both setting up and previewing stereoscopic three d render using the V-Ray engine. Now, whilst the stereo pipeline as a whole, that is from shot composition through to final post effects, is, by its very nature a technical and artistically challenging process, getting a basic stereo effect working in V-Ray is, by comparison, pretty simple to do. For instance, in a scene where left and right cameras have already been set up, so for example, when there animation has been pre-defined using motion capture data, we could go ahead and make use of the V-Ray stereo rig that can be accessed in the systems section of the command panels create tab. In simpler scenarios though, such as the one that we have here, we can instead from the helper section of the command panel, access the V-Ray option in the drop-down list and then click…
