- [Instructor] The goal of bringing this Revit model into 3ds Max is to fine tune it for rendering. Now this is not a rendering course and so we're not really looking at a particular rendering engine here. We're also not looking at this in a true real time application. We're prepping for real time where we drop into a game engine and run around this scene or put on VR headsets. Instead, we're simply looking at the workflow from Revit to 3ds Max, and what we need to do to fine tune and polish these objects, so I'll use a test render in that context, not necessarily making the prettiest image, but testing some things in the rendering to make sure that it will show up nicely in any given renderer. Whether I'm using Arnold, V-Ray, Corona, or the art renderer here. What I'll do first, is to pull my camera into the lobby and turn on some things in the rendering and the camera to really check is this going to hold up nicely?
