- Another new addition to the material and texturing tools found in V-Ray five is the UVW randomizer map, which housing part been designed to give artists the ability to apply random offset rotation and scale transforms to textures and concurrently be used as a mapping source for the V-Ray bitmap and V-Ray tri planar texture nodes as well, which means that it can also be used as a master control for all bitmaps in a given material thereby creating a workflow that is both flexible and fast. So for instance, we can see even in the view port here that our wall bit map appears to have a few scale issues based on the way that it's UV mapping is being generated. And so let's open up the material editor and make certain that we're inside the wall tap. Now we could of course, easily fix our problem here by clicking on each of the bitmap nodes being used in the material, such as in the diffused slot and manually entering a value that…
