- [Instructor] We're almost done with the material pointers that I would like to give you in order for you to achieve a more realistic result with your final render, but one last thing I wanted to focus on is the use of complex shaders. Usually, what we want is just use complex shaders in elements that are really important to the scene, and when I say complex shaders, I mean a shader that has specular map and bump map and displacement map and all of those different maps and information should make that material much more complex. When we have wood in our scene, usually we're going to need complex shaders even if it's not a very important or a very crucial element to the scene just because wood is really complex by its nature. It's easy to perceive a wood material that feels off because nothing about the wood material is uniform.
