Using the History tool

- [Instructor] One option on the V-Ray Frame Buffer window that you have already seen me make use of is the history tool. What we want to do in this exercise, then, is take a minute or two to explore both the workings of and the options available for this essential part of the V-Ray Frame Buffer tool set. Now, these days, of course, the history function is enabled by default and shows up in the left-hand pane of the revamped Frame Buffer UI. We do still have access to history-specific settings in V-Ray 5, though, although these have now been unified into an overall Frame Buffer Settings dialog that can be accessed via the Options menu. From inside the History tab, we can set the directory path for the images being saved into history using any drive that we choose, if we don't want to use the default of project, that is.
