- [Instructor] One advantage of 3DSMX Legacy Bitmaps is support for a feature called real world map size. And this can streamline your workflow because you can plug in the size of a map in the material editor and it will appear the same size on any objects in the scene that had that feature enabled in the UVW map modifier. So just to make things easier to see I'm going to change the display of these maps in the viewport let's go into the material editor. I've got a physical material it's base color is coming from an OSL composite map, which is providing the colors and that is being fed by a legacy bitmap. So I'm going to just connect the legacy bitmap directly to the physical material base color, because for a moment because it'll make it easier for us to see what's going on in our view ports. All right, I'll minimize the material editor. So each one of these objects has the same material but the scaling of the maps is different…
