Using reference images

- [Instructor] One of the key elements to achieving the final look of the renders is to use reference images for color and texture development. This is key to your success in your projects. Reference images for specific instrumentation need to be supplied by the client or researched and shared by you and used to get agreement with the client as you develop the materials for your renders. It's usually ideal to get the client to provide some imagery for you. That way, you at least know what they're thinking and where they're at in terms of what their expectations are. So, at a minimum, you need either photo reference or some other previous digital renders to kind of show you what the materials and the material breakup is. In this case, for example, dark black anodized aluminum, knurled handle with the titanium end tamp here. These are basically the kinds of renders that you want.
