Using vegetation scatter
- [Instructor] If you want to bring in a lot of vegetation you can use what's called vegetation scatter and that will basically fill an object with other objects. So in this case, we're going to just create another forest. So, I've got this object here in the scene it's called a landscape 08. And so this object, basically, I just want to fill with a bunch of trees to make it look like a forest. So, I'm going to select this object and then go into the context menu and select vegetation scatter. And when I do, it brings up a menu that's very similar to vegetation paint. So in this case, it puts me into grass and flowers but I actually want to do trees. So I'm going to go up and then back down into trees. And so for this forest, I want to still use the Colorado spruce. So, I'm going to go ahead and drag that in, but I also want to add in a second tree. So, this Western red cedar, so I'm going to do two separate objects.…
