The V-Ray Sphere light
- [Instructor] The next light type that we will take a look at here is the Sphere Light. for the V-Ray Plane Light, we have already seen much of what the Sphere Light has to offer although that shouldn't stop us taking a quick look at the few extra controls that are available. To do that, we will naturally need to add a Sphere Light to our scene. And so let's come to the V-Ray toolbar. Click the sphere option. And then with a left click and drag, set both the light's location and radius or size in the scene. Again, as this is a genuine area light, both light levels and shadows will be affected by the overall size, and so after right clicking to exit create mode, let's set a radius value of about 10 and again, align this to the point helper in the scene. Now, even at this reasonably small size, if I just open up the V-Ray frame buffer window, and again, kick off an interactive render you can see that we do get a fairly high level of illumination from it in conjunction, of course, with…
