- [Tutor] One of the nicer V-Ray for 3D S Max features that chaos group ultimately borrowed from earlier versions of both the V-Ray for Sketch Up and V-Ray for Rhino plugins is the extensively stocked to V-Ray toolbar that first made its appearance in 3DS Max in V-Ray version three. And indeed, as soon as we install V-Ray these days, the toolbar should be set up and ready to work with occupying typically the left hand edge of the 3D S Max UI as mine does. If it should start life as a free floating toolbar, though we can just dock it to anywhere in the max UI that we like. Though we could of course leave it as a floating toolbar. If we prefer to have all such UI elements off to one side on a second or even third display device. Hopefully, the toolbar will remember its last known position inside the UI on exit, and so, should be in the exact same spot the next time we launch a new 3D S Max session.
