Wiring parameters in a lighting assembly

- [Instructor] Last week, we created an assembly to contain all the parts of this lamp, including the light itself, and also the IK chain. If we select any member of that assembly, in the modify panel, we'll see the root level object, which is a luminaire. And we got a couple of parameters. There's a dimmer and a filter color. Now let's talk about how to connect those up to the actual light itself. Let's select the light, go up to the group menu, and choose assembly, open, and select the light. And in the modify panel, we see that it's a free rectangle light. If we scroll down the intensity color attenuation section, we'll find the parameters that are relevant to the luminaire head object of the assembly. Specifically in there, we saw that there was a dimmer, and also a filter color. So the filter color is here. And that filter color is always active, regardless of which option you've chosen up here.
