- [Instructor] In a design visualization, we often want to animate the lights coming on. This can be problematic sometimes to select those lights and turn them on, as the different banks may have different lights in them, different instances. And so rather than go in and select them all, what I'm going to do is add a manipulator on the screen that can control a bank of lights. I'll do this often because I have many lights that aren't always instances or easy to select. Here's how this works. We'll create a manipulator and then wire to it. First, I'll make the manipulator. On the command panel, going under create, and helpers, and under helpers, manipulators. In the manipulators then, I'll put a slider on the screen. I'll click to land it and then go to the modifier panel and name it. For the label, I'll call this "Lobby Dimmer". This is a dimmer that's going to control the recess lights and the surface mount cans. This way I can dim the lobby or turn it all on at once without…
