- [Male] One of the things that will often times find ourselves wanting to do when animating in 3Ds Max is add extra motion to objects that looks more natural and/or random than a hand keyed piece of work typically would. And for that, few things work as well in 3Ds Max as the noise options that we have access to. In this example, then, we are going to add some extra motion to our rendering camera, and motion that we really don't want to have to hand key. In the first instance, this will be a gentle rotation shift on drift, to be more precise, that will add a subtle bit of life to an otherwise stationary camera. With our physical camera selected, then, which, in this instance, needs to be set as a free, as opposed to targeted, camera, let's jump into the motion tab in the command panel and first of all, take a look at how not to go about doing this.
