Analog's hidden sub and sync oscillators

- Once you get started creating sounds, it can get frustrating when you run out of oscillators. Like most synths, analog has some hidden features that help with that problem. So let's grab a default analog and let's drop it on this first MIDI track, and let's do some of the techniques that we've discussed already. So I'm going to take oscillators one and two, and I'm going to detune them a little bit. So I'll push this one up three. I'm going to pull this one down three. We'll check that out. (instrumental music) So we hear that tad bit of chorusing happening. And in the case where I was creating a base sound, I would probably want to take maybe one of these oscillators and tune it down an octave. So I'd pull this one down. (instrumental music) We start to fatten that sound up. But we're not quite getting that rich chorusing sound that we got when the oscillators were in the same octave.
