Arrangement and Session View introduction and comparison

- [Narrator] Ableton Live is unique in that it offers two separate work flows for creating music. So once you're familiar with how to work in both Session and Arrangement views, you can use the one that you prefer or the work flow that best fits the project at hand. Let's start with a brief introduction to Arrangement and Session views. So I've got exercise four from chapter two open and currently we're looking at Session view. Now, I want to start off by pointing out that the area around the outside edge of the window is the same in both views. So here in Session view, we're looking at the Control bar across the top and that's got things like the Play button and the Stop button. Over on the left hand side we have the browser and here we can find instruments and plugins and clips. Down on the bottom we have Info view so that if you point at anything in the session, Info view will tell you what you're pointed at and give you a little bit of information about it.
