- [Instructor] Live 10.1 includes a couple of big updates that users have been asking for, relating to how Ableton processes and renders audio. These changes enable freezing tracks that use sidechain processing, as well as including return track effects when exporting individual tracks. Let's take a look at how all this works. So I've got exercise five from chapter two open, and I've set up some sidechain processing down on this big pad track. Now you will notice something that's a little bit different if you look down here in device view. And that is that I'm using a third party plug-in. And now you'll notice that we have this sidechain, little side panel, that we've seen prior to this only on Ableton plug-ins, not on third party plug-ins. And so you're going to see this on third party plug-ins now, that enable sidechain processing. So, I've set up the source of the sidechain trigger signal, to be this SC Trigger Track.…
