Auditioning and loading presets

- [Instructor] Before we can discuss how to record MIDI in Ableton, we'll first need to know how to load software instruments. So let's take a first look at the browser and how to find, audition, and load instruments. So I've got a default set open and I'm in arrangement view. If you're in session view, remember you can press your Tab key to toggle between the two views. I've also got my browser open on the left. If your browser is currently closed, you can open it by clicking the little triangle up here in the upper left-hand corner or you can go to the view menu and you can choose show browser or use the key command Option + Command + B on a Mac or Control + Alt + B on a PC. Now software or virtual instruments can be found in a number of categories here including sounds, drums, instruments, and plugins.
