Working in the MIDI Editor

- [Instructor] If you need to edit the contents of a MIDI clip, you'll have to work in the MIDI editor. Whether you're working an arrangement or session view. So let's take a look at the different parts of the MIDI editor and learn how to configure and navigate it. And let's start by displaying a clip down here at the bottom of the window. Now right now we see device view, for the pull space track. And probably the easiest way to display a clip in session view is to just double click it. And remember that you can also use these buttons and the bottom of the window to switch between the two views on the track. Or you can use the key command, shift tab. So now that we're looking at the MIDI editor, let's take a look at the different parts of it. So across the top we have a bars and beats ruler. And that shows us time moving from left to right.
