- [Instructor] If you ever wanted to transcribe a recording, or quickly layer an audio clip with a midi part that doubles the clip, you'll want to take a look at the audio-to-midi converting feature that's included Live Standard, and Live Suite. I've got a few different clips on this track that we see here in this set. So, similar to what we've been discussing in previous videos, the audio-to-midi conversion relies on the placement of transient markers in your audio clips, so you'll want to take a close look at your clips and delete or add any transient markers that are either missing or where there's too many. So, I'm going to start off by selecting this drum loop clip, and let's listen to it once so we can hear what it sounds like. (drum kit plays) Okay, now before I use the conversion-to-midi feature, I'll just comment that on drum tracks, the only things that are going to be mapped to midi notes when we get the results from here, are going to be kick, snare, and hat sounds.
