- [Instructor] Let's go ahead and create a bassline using Wavetable. I'm going to open up an instance of the synth by dragging it onto a new MIDI track. And let's open it up to have a better look. So one of the things that we haven't talked about yet is the Sub feature, now I'm just going to hit a few notes (synthesizing notes) okay, so it's sounding pretty high in the range, definitely not a bassline. If I enable Sub, (synthesizing notes) right away we have a sub frequency that is an octave below (synthesizing notes) the note that we're playing and we can of course transpose that as well we could go (synthesizing notes) down several octaves (synthesizing notes) so that's down two octaves. So already we're building a bit of sub into our bassline but the top end still isn't that interesting. Let's go ahead and sculpt that a bit more now. So I'm going to go into our shapes again.
