Creating call and response bass lines
- Okay, so now that I'm happy with the bass line that I've created in Live's analog synth we're going to go ahead and create a kind of response bass line in Live's operator synth. But first, we have some clips now in session view that I think I'm pretty happy with and I want to go ahead and start building out an arrangement a little bit. Let's trigger this first scene so that both our drums and this analog bass line play at the same time and hear what those sound like. (electronic music) Okay, cool. I'm going to go ahead and hit Command + C to copy from just the drums first we're going to hit this back to arrangement button so that it's playing from the arrangement and then I'm going to paste that in here and once I've done that I'm can hit Command + D to just duplicate that and I'm going to do that a bunch of times I'll go all the way to measure 49 and now let's take this instance of analog we'll copy that in and I'm just going to bring it right to bar one and let's trim down the end…
