Creating simple sections and structural considerations

- Now that I've got a handful of musical ideas in here that are working well together, it's time to start thinking about structure. One of the things that I'm a huge fan of when composing music is getting out of loop mode as quickly as possible. And that means beginning to work with structural considerations. OK, so we have some simple variations here, and what I'm going to do is actually just start to move these around. I'm not going to worry so much about an intro or an outro, but I'm going to start to think about doing things in a way where the energy flows kind of nicely. So let's go ahead and we'll start out with just this drum part. (plays drum track) Maybe what I'll do is actually just start out with this guy. This is cool.
