- [Voiceover] Let's quickly review work flow with Ableton Live's audio and MIDI clips. I also wanna point out the difference between these clips, audio and MIDI, and how they work within tracks. So the vertical columns that you see here are our tracks, and I'm just gonna play this first scene, which is the horizontal column going across, by hitting this arrow here. (electronic dance music) So this little drum and bass track. And you can see these little colored rectangles within the tracks themselves, and those are our clips. So I'm gonna click on a clip, and access the clip by double-clicking, which I can do right here, let's go on this little drum loop. And right away, we can tell this is an audio clip, and we know this because there's a wave form that shows up here, which is a visual representation of frequency and amplitude, and we can toggle between the track view and the clip view by hitting shift+tab. So here's our track view, where we can drop or add audio effects, and now…
