- [Teacher] Now let's further explore creating an arrangement. So, arrangements are gonna vary from genre to genre in electronic music and, depending on what you're working with, it might be a really long arrangement, like in minimal techno songs can be 10 to 15 minutes even. And in other genres, like trap, it kind of gets right into it. But basically, there are some standards with arrangements, particularly if you're making music for the dance floor. You're usually gonna have an intro that a DJ can mix into, you're gonna have elements build, and then things are usually gonna drop out so that you create somewhat of a break and then maybe it gets really high energy, and then you need some room for a DJ to mix out of, into the next song. So we're here in this project that I originally was using as a part of a live set and I think I wanna go in and make this into an actual arrangement for our track.
