Importing playback audio

I have the audio stems clearly named and collected in one folder. And importing them into the show file, is a pretty straight forward drag and drop operation. Before you do that, open your Preferences. Select the Record Warp Launch tab, and make sure that Loop Warp Short Samples is set to Unwarped One Shot, and the Autowarp Long Samples Preference is off. I find it's safer and easier to import audio in its raw form, and morph it later if needed. Let's exit the Preferences. Now, select all the stems to be imported, drag them up here, but don't drop them yet. Let's just hover like this for a second. You can see that by default, the stems are lining up to go into five consecutive slots in the same track. However, watch what happens if you press Cmd. Now they line up horizontally instead, and go into the same scene. That's exactly what you want here. Let go, and you have your playback clips exactly where you want them all in one fell swoop, with audio tracks automatically created for each…
