Learned a great trick from a monitor engineer awhile back about how to facilitate a, a quick and easy line check before, before proper sound check begins. This is an Abelton file where each track contains audio that identifies the track for what it is. So I have ten lines running to the house. Each of them needs to be tested. In each of the lines, I've recorded audio that says what that line is. It's just a voice, in my case a computer voice, but it could be your voice or whatever you like. It says keys for example, click, bass, any other elements that you have. So that each line identifies itself to the house. The house and the monitor engineer can solo each line and hear what the line is. This way of doing things saves a lot of time because each track doesn't have to be separately run and soloed by me or a technician.
