Quantizing audio
- [Instructor] Working with audio file is the same way we work with MIDI. It's a powerful part of Live's warping capabilities. So, let's take a look at how you can use warping to quantize audio and how it can be used to edit multi-track audio clips. Let's work with this clip on the basic rack track. So, if we select that, we can see it down here in the Clip Overview. And you can see that the in and out points have been set at bar five and bar nine. Now, before we can quantize it, we want to make sure that the underlying audio is aligned correctly and we'll also want to put warp markers at the beginning and end of the clip. So, I'm going to zoom in by putting my cursor in the ruler and pulling down at bar five. And I can see that this transient that would start the clip is a little bit early. So, let's double-click the transient marker, turn it into a warp marker, and then we'll click and drag, and snap that on the grid at bar five. I'll zoom back out and I'll do the same thing over…
