Quick review of Ableton Live basics

- [Narrator] Now let's quickly review Ableton Live's Interface. This is what you're going to see when you first open Live, and I just want to go through some of the basics and most important things your going to be using to create music. We have our tempo up here, which, by default, is set to 120. We can change that by entering a value numerically, or by dragging up and down with our mouse. We can also adjust the tempo with Push, which I'll show you in a second. I'm going to go back to the default tempo for now. We have a tap tempo, which we can we can use (beeps) if we're performing with a drummer or a live band. But, again, I'm going to set that back to our default for now. As you just heard, our metronome, (beeps) which we can turn on and off. We can also enable our count-in. Then we have our Quantization Menu, and that's for when you're working with clips, and launching scenes that will help you quantize the launch so that everything will play on time and all of your scenes and…
