Sequencing the kick, snare, and hats for a house beat

Male 1: Before we begin creating some beats, we need to get set up. The first thing I'm going to do is add the samples from the exercise files folder into Live's browser. I'm gonna click on Add Folder. I am gonna locate my exercise files folder in my computer. Click on the samples folder and hit Open. Then, I'm going to only use one MIDI track. So I'll delete the extra MIDI and audio tracks by selecting them and hitting Delete. Then I'm going to load an empty drum rack from the instruments category and load all the samples into it, and also set the global BPM to 128. So first, let's set up the BPM. Then I'm gonna go to Instruments, drag a drum rack on an empty MIDI track. Go to my samples folder and start loading up the how samples. I'm gonna load up the kick to C1. The clap to C#1. Open hat E1. Closed hat to F1. The second closed hat to F#1. The percussion, G#1, A1, and A#1. Shaker, C2, C#2. And finally, the ride to D#2.
