- [Teacher] One of the things that makes Ableton Live really, really unique is its Session View. Now, by default, when you open Live, you're in Session View, and Live also has an Arrangement View, which you can access by hitting the Tab key on your keyboard. Now, the Arrangement View is the common default of almost every other DAW. It's your linear timeline from left to right. But in Ableton Live, the default Session View allows you to compose music by just getting your ideas down before you're even thinking about where things are gonna go in the arrangement. Now, what we're looking at is a session that I actually originally started as part of a live set. So this was a session that I had created to perform with live, but it's worked well before, and I think I wanna make a track from this session.
