- So let's take a look at a template that I've set up in Pro Tools. Now, this is a vocal recording template that I have set up and it has a lot of things that I've already talked about. So, for example, I have my stems aux, which is either where all of the stems will be bused to via the stems aux bus, and I can EQ it and make lots of nice room for the vocal or I can just send the stereo mix that I've gotten for the vocalist to record to there. It really is session-dependent. Now, I have my record track, which is where I do a good deal of my vocal recording, and then you can see that I have Quick Punch all set up so that I can do nice, quick punches. So if I record-enable this, I can go ahead and do my cool quick punches over here. All that's set up, ready to roll, I don't even have to think about it. Then I have my different channels for my vocals, as I mentioned before, I have verse, chorus, dub, things like that. On each of them, because of the fact that in Pro Tools, you can't…
