- [Instructor] Now let's take a look at a specialized plugin in the latest version of Ableton Live called Drum Buss. Drum Buss is worth pointing out because it does a number of cool things and can drastically improve the sound of your drums. So I'm just going to go ahead and go to our audio effects and I'm going to select Drum Buss and I have our kit here, let's just play this so you can hear what it sounds like. I added a hi-hat here. (relaxed percussion music) And again, that's our core 808 kit. I'm just going to load Drum Buss on the entire track for now. This is a plugin that you may want to load on only the kick drum, but you can use it on your entire drum track as well. So let's take a look. Now that we have Drum Buss, I'm also just going to solo this and I'm going to bypass Drum Buss for now. So here's our drums (upbeat percussion music) without Drum Buss on.
