- [Instructor] Welcome to producing electronic music in Ableton Live. Ableton Live is a powerful DAW or digital audio workstation that allows you to produce music and perform it live. In this course, I'll show you some of my favorite tools in Ableton Live so you can get started producing music quickly. Some sections of this course will feature techniques for using Ableton's Push 2 hardware instrument. If you have Push, you can follow along to get some ideas for incorporating Push into your music production and performance workflow. We'll cover recording your ideas from session view to songs in arrange view... creating custom instrument and effects racks... programming bass lines with Live's analog and operator synths... Drum programming and mixing techniques with Ableton Push 2, and more. Even if you don't identify as an electronic musician, I encourage you to check out this course so you can pick up new ideas to incorporate into your music.
