- [Voiceover] More and more iOS devices are being released that are changing the way we make music. If you have a tablet or a phone with some music making apps chances are they may be enabled with Link. Link is a technology that was recently developed by Ableton and it allows you to sync up other devices or other instances of Ableton live with Link. So if you have a bunch of musicians all together with Ableton live running on their laptops and everyone has Link enabled, all of the sessions can sync together right over wifi. So I'm also gonna suggest that you may want to create a adhok wifi network, especially if you're performing live. But I'm not gonna go into details about how to do that you can find a ton of information about that online. Right now I'm just gonna show you how to enable Link and I'm gonna show you how I'm using it with iMachine, a great app from Native Instruments on an iPad.
