Working with clips

- [Instructor] As we've been discussing, working with clips is an important part of using Ableton Live. So let's take a deeper look at audio and MIDI clips and their related clip properties. And I'm going to start by selecting this clip on the drums track, and when we look down here in the clip overview, you probably guessed that this is a MIDI track and you would be right. If for whatever reason you don't see the MIDI editor or the clip overview here, it's probably because you're displaying in device view at the bottom, and you can switch between the two views by clicking on these two tabs at the bottom of the overview area, or you can use your key command Shift + Tab to toggle between those two views. We're going to spend most of our time here looking at the clip overview. So the properties that we're going to talk about are all grouped over here on the left hand side, and you can show and hide other properties down here by clicking these little buttons.
