Working with scenes

- [Instructor] Most music production applications only allow you to work in a linear manner. But live session view allows you to work in a non-linear manor without the constraints of a linear workflow. Let's take a closer look at how scenes are used to organize the sections of a song and then launched to play or perform the song. Let's review just a bit. So remember that tracks are vertical in session view and that these little areas that look like cells in a spreadsheet contain clips, and depending upon whether you're on a midi track or an audio track, you're going to have an audio or a midi clip. Now once you find some clips that you want to play together you can organize them on the same row and then you can launch them by clicking the scene launch button over here on the master track. So for example, if I want to launch scene number two I'll just click the scene launch button. (synth music) Now you can stop that scene playing by pressing the space bar or by coming down and…
