A simple approach to creating intros and outros

- Now there's much debate as to when exactly you really need to do an intro and the outro. You can actually do the intro and outro last. You can do it first if you want. I find it's good to do it somewhere in the middle, but that's just for my personal brain. For the intro I like to come up with something fairly fresh that's going to grab the audience right off the bat. Even if it's a dance tune that has some sort of four-on-the-floor kick drum type of thing, I don't think it's an excuse to have something that's totally bland and has no identity. I think it's very important that you have something that will captivate your audience, that will make them know who it is the second the track starts. No matter what it is, no matter how subtle. Let's go to the outro first actually because I think it'll be very simple. I'm just going to go ahead and I'm going to grab this guy. Not going to copy. And let's go ahead and get my strings. I think that those are going to be the two outro items…
