Accessing Access help
- If you find yourself in need of a refresher on how a particular feature works, then you might consider turning to the built in Access help system. In order to get to it you'll just press the question mark icon up here on the toolbar. That will will launch the Access Help, where we can do a search for the thing we want to find. In this case I want to find some help on a delete query, and I'll press the enter key to run the search. It will return some results, and I'm going to click on this first one that says "Create and run a delete query". So here is some information about how the delete query operates. I can scroll through it to find out how to work a delete query or how to create one and I can get to work. Later on, we're going to talk about using functions in our database queries, and the help documentation can be a very valuable resource when it comes time to understanding the various function parameters and arguments that need to be supplied.
