- Accessibility often seems abstract and difficult to understand. Unless you interact with someone who has a disability on a regular basis, it might not be something you consider in your design. But accessibility issues surround you all the time. Here are some quotes from real people facing challenges on the web. I usually don't go through the navigation of a site. I just use Google to get the page I want to, because it's way easier than trying to sort through all the menus with my keyboard. I get frustrated because it's a simple link. That's all I want to do, just click the link. But I can't, so I leave. I have to buy my gifts on another site where I can click the links. I filled out the form and spent a lot of time on it and then I submitted it and all I got back was a huge page of red words on it. I didn't know what to do. I just wanted to register my device for its warranty. I'm trying to figure out which bus routes are accessible and which bus routes have bike carriers on them…
